The San Diego LRIG Chapter will hold its next meeting at UCSD’s Extension
Sorrento Mesa Center at 6925 Lusk Boulevard (located on the first floor
of the blue AT&T building). Sponsor exhibits, free food and general
networking will begin at 4:00 pm. Speaker presentations

will start at 5:00 pm and is scheduled to end at 7:00 pm.

Biomedical Product Development Certificate Program

This 18-session program provides a comprehensive understanding of Biomedical
Product Development from a Quality System Standards point of view for
the life sciences community. This new program addresses the unique issues
related to the design and development of biomedical products. It covers
the full range of GMP issues and Federal regulations related to designing,
developing, manufacturing, marketing/launching and servicing biomedical
products, in terms of controlling and managing risk, quality, and if required,
regulatory compliance. It also provides participants the knowledge and
understanding of the relationships between the industry standards and
best practices, including ISO 9001, ISO/DIS 138485, and the FDA’s
Quality System Requirements (GMPs).

The session runs from September 15, 2003 through February 2, 2004 on
Mondays , 3:00 – 8:00 PM.
