General Manager - PhD level - San Francisco Bay areaI am assisting to recruit a (PhD level) General Manager for a client located in the San Francisco Bay area.
The company specializes in the development and production of immunology products for the research market. The expertise of this company relates to enzyme immuno-assays, ELISAs, radio immuno-assays and the corresponding antibodies, primarily focused on peptides.
They are seeking a highly motivated, organized and progressive thinking individual to grow the immunology business and manage the overall operations at our San Francisco Bay area facility. This individual will also be responsible for planning, organizing and controlling the facility with respect to setting targets and establishing procedures for selecting immuno-chemicals for new catalog products in the peptide field. In addition, this individual will be accountable for budgets and all aspects of the day-to-day responsibilities. This individual will also be a member of the Board.
Qualifications:
PhD in immunology or protein biochemistry and background in business administration and budgeting required.
Additional personal characteristics:
Excellent leadership and management experience. Hands-on experience in antibody kit production. Thorough knowledge in the field of immunology. Expertise in assay development, know different formats applied in the diagnostic business. Excellent communication skills.
