Scientific Chemistry Application Developer

I am assisting to recruit a Scientific Chemistry Application Developer. Do you know anyone who might be interested in this opportunity? Here is more information:

This client is a scientific software company, that provides state-of-the-art drug discovery software for major pharmaceutical and biotechnology
companies around the world.

Total compensation potential is in the range of $80 - 100K which is made up of a base salary of CA$40 - 50K per year plus a generous bonus program. 50% of the bonus is based on company performance and 50% is based on personal performance. Relocation is available.

This client provides a fabulous bonus program - They have an urgent positions open in their Research and Development department, and can offer talented and motivated individuals highly challenging and
stimulating employment.

Main focus of the job is application development in C++, to develop a new organic chemistry expert system, that will be built on the top of our existing development platform: using C++, CORBA, client-server and JAVA technologies.

Skills required:
* C and C++ programming
* Synthetic organic chemistry expertise
* Chemistry software application development experience
* Unix and Linux application development skills

Required educational background:
* BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
* BSc/MSc/PhD in Chemistry, with specialization or experience in synthetic organic chemistry
* Proven academic excellence in mathematics or computer science or chemistry

Additional nice to have:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in commercial software development
* Knowledge or experience in 3D graphics, computational geometry, databases, or graphical user interface design
* Familiar with client / server and CORBA distributed technology
