Field Service & Technical Support Manager

Our Company:
REMP is a fast-growing, technologically advanced developer and manufacturer of robotics and automation utilized within Research and Development organizations of the world leading pharmaceutical, bio-pharm, genomics, biotech and agricultural firms. Our products include solutions for compound storage and retrieval, environmental conditioning and control, 96 and 384 well sample cherry-picking, tube capping, thermal plate sealing, seal piercing, plate replication/reformatting, automated powder dosing, vial weighing and consumables.

Our US corporate headquarters is in Holliston, Massachusetts and our worldwide headquarters is located at the foot of the Swiss Alps in Oberdiessbach, Switzerland. Additional subsidiaries are located in Japan and Germany.

Job Location:
Remp USA corporate office in Holliston, MA.

Reporting Relationship:
President, Remp USA with project related reporting to Remp Worldwide Service Manager in our corporate office in Oberdiessbach, Switzerland.

Employment Start Date:
Immediately.

Job Responsibilities:
Manage:
US field service and technical support organization
US spare parts inventory
3rd party service organizations
Product installations
Factory depot operations
Service contract adherence and sales
Product maintenance schedules
Customer product training

Perform:
Field service
Technical support
Product installations
Factory depot service
Product maintenance
Customer product training
Service contract sales

P&L; responsibility of US field service and technical support business.


Experience:
3-5 years ands-on?capital equipment field service and technical support experience, 4-6 years field service and technical support management experience, and a proven track record of positive customer satisfaction.

Associates or Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering.

Refrigeration engineering and/or service experience.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, written, and verbal skills.

Ability to speak or read German a plus.


Other Requirements:
Overnight travel in support of service, installations, and customer training, and to Remp Switzerland for product and service training.


Compensation Package:
Cometitive base salary.

Year-end bonus based upon corporate financial performance.

Company vehicle, as needed, to perform job functions.


Employee Benefits:
100% company paid premiums for medical and dental insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance and life insurance at 2x one yearly base salary.

Two weeks paid vacation per year increasing 1 week per year at each five-year employment anniversary to a maximum of five weeks vacation.

Thirteen (13) company-paid holidays.

Company sponsored 401k individual retirement plan with an employer matching contribution of 50% of the employee contribution not to exceed 8% of the employee base salary commencing the first full calendar month after employment.

Company paid education reimbursement following Remp USA policy (80% tuition, books and associated registration fees) for college-level courses related to one professional career or growth. Additionally, employees can attend pre-approved professional/certified training courses typically paid 100% by the company.

Company issued credit card for use in achievement of job responsibilities.

Associated mobile telephony and office computing hardware and software.
