The Technical Product Specialist (TPS) will promote product success by working closely with the Project Managers and interfacing with the product key partners, including sales, marketing, technical support, distributors, and customers. This individual will facilitate customer-centric product definition by soliciting, analyzing, and prioritizing market and customer driven features for new and existing products, then synthesizing these items into actionable product requirements. Will manage product success from radle to grave?by monitoring product performance, actively investigating the technical aspects of applications in new market segments, and driving the technical implementation of new product/market strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
The independent self-starter we seek will have a BS in a technical discipline with 2-3 years experience in technical product management, or equivalent combination of education and experience; working knowledge of the laboratory and/or biotechnology industry with a general understanding of biomedical products; excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate customer needs into written requirements for developing new products and enhancing existing products; and the ability to communicate effectively with technical, detailed, tactically focused individuals, as well as those more strategically oriented. Knowledge of any of the following areas would add value: IVD industry (blood analysis), Laboratory Informatics, Laboratory Automation, Workflow Optimization, Clinical Interpretive Software Tools, Primary Market Research, Product Development Lifecycles, Software/Hardware Beta Testing Cycles. Must be able to travel 25%-30%
