ALTANA Research Institute is seeking an Automation / LIMS Engineer to join the Automation Department. The candidate will be expected to design, develop, test and document software applications; the primary focus will be on development of LIMS and data systems for laboratory automation. Experience in imaging software development is a plus. Candidate must be committed to meeting high quality standards, be detail oriented and approach work in a meticulous and thorough manner. The ideal candidate will be independent and take the initiative to set goals and meet deadlines. The ability to interact and function in a team-oriented multidisciplinary environment is essential. Excellent communication skills are a must, as the position will interface extensively with team scientists.
