Program Manager - LA and Dallas


DESCRIPTION
This position primary responsibility is to manage the commercial growth of company System and Consumable products in the assigned territory. It also involves directly supervising the territory Field Scientists, in both industry and academic environments, to assist in developing client interest and preference toward closing orders for company technology. These Field Scientists have responsibility of addressing clients?pre and post sales issues and conducting customer training utilizing the technology. The position involves extensive travel in the assigned territory and occasional trips to headquarters

REQUIREMENTS
?A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Cell Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
?A minimum of three years of direct sales responsibility for high-end, biomedical-related capital instrumentation with exceptional results.
?Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in one or more of the following areas: drug discovery and development; protein biochemistry; or toxicology/toxicity discovery and development.
?Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-reliant manner.
?Demonstrated ability to present oneself and one company/technology in a professional and successful manner to technical customers.
?Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
