A leading global biotech firm specializing in biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and diagnostics, has a senior level marketing opportunity for its blood testing business. The successful candidate will manage product plans for an automated blood virus test platform including market segmentation and appropriate positioning of the product. He/she will work with members of the instrumentation and assay development groups to ensure a timely and effective market introduction. The individual will also manage development partners and outside vendors as part of the overall commercialization effort.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree and 5 years industry experience. Experience in product management of large laboratory instrumentation with at least 5 years blood bank marketing experience and international blood bank knowledge. Demonstrated record of international product launch, good project management skills, experience developing and marketing laboratory capital equipment and ability to clearly communicate the market needs both internally and to external suppliers and customers.
