Location: Sunnyvale, CAJOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a BS in Life Sciences or equivalent, MBA or advanced Life Science degree desired. Three to five years of marketing experience required. Ideal candidate has experience with fluorescence-based cellular assays either as a scientist or product manager. A working knowledge of automated microscopy systems is preferred. Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding objectives required. Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills required. Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.
JOB DUTIES: Responsible for global product management of the Discovery-1 and FlexStation instrument systems. Lead development and execution of a product line Marketing Plan, including market research, product development, promotion and training. Responsibilities will include defining new product specifications based upon customer needs, application requirements and fit with company strategy. Perform market research from primary and secondary sources to support market assessments and product revenue forecasts.
