Technology Integration Project Managers (3) ?Laboratory Automation
(Two positions in Johnston, Iowa and one position in Wilmington, Delaware)Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc., a DuPont business and the worldî–¸ leading developer and supplier of advanced plant genetics, has three immediate openings in its Technology Integration Services - Laboratory Automation Group for energetic, multidisciplinary, team-oriented leaders with strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills. These people must be able to work independently and as team members to lead in the design, development, integration and support of laboratory automation that will enhance biotechnology research in plant genetics.
Responsibilities will emphasize leadership skills and will include project management, laboratory automation integration, software development, mechanical systems design and testing, and the management of vendor and outsource collaborative relations. The Project Managers should hold an advanced degree or a BS in computer science, molecular genetics or similar biological science area, analytical chemistry, or mechanical engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience in leadership, automation integration, or the development, modification and integration of mechanical or software systems or laboratory automation instrumentation. An understanding of biotechnology laboratory processes, instrumentation, automation, including PLC and computer software control and data acquisition systems, is essential.
