DESCRIPTION: Join a company that is one of the leading solution providers for drug discovery through genomic target analysis and sophisticated high throughput screening. They have gained an international reputation for their advanced way of identifying commercially useful targets and enabling rapid assay development to test compounds for new medicines. These tools have accelerated their progress in the drug discovery field and are driving their success.

Due to increased demands by drug research to speed this process even further, my client is providing increased IT support to the various core areas in the company. Your role will involve evaluating the needs and problems faced by various research processes to determine software solutions and isolate hardware or networking issues. You will bridge the gap between IT, laboratory automation needs, compound identification, and HTS automation. Your challenge will be managing day-to-day activities, along with prioritizing new development and necessary processes. Quickly limiting the scope of a solution in order to deliver useful software/network solutions is key. If you enjoy multi-tasking and helping accelerate a companyî–¸ internal drug discovery processes, this is the spot for you!
