Interested candidates please email resume to [email protected] Key responsibilities include the ability to conduct laboratory r&d; experimentation focused on process optimization, technology transfer and implementation at the production scale; supports the Process Research and Development of programs in the Process Engineering group; operates automation tools for synthesis, crystallization and in-situ monitoring of reactions; development of in-process assays and controls as well as new synthetic and crystallization techniques; performs experimentation from laboratory through pilot plant scale up leading toward transfer to third party manufacturing partners; and participates in the selection of manufacturing equipment and facilities and to troubleshoot and participate in the problem solving of synthetic and scale-up issues during implementation of processes at the manufacturing site.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Chemical Engineering or related science plus 4+ years Process R&D; experience or MS with 2 to 5 years Process R&D; experience. The ability to work in multidisciplinary teams especially with both chemistry and engineering teams and TPM's is essential.
