Research Assistant/AssociateExciting opportunity for individual with BS or MS in Biology or related Life Science degree to prepare compounds for and perform High Throughput Screenings using a fully automated robotics system; perform assay development; and utilize sophisticated database system for report generation and compound tracking. Position will be responsible for the automation and operation of a high-throughput robotics program dealing with the identification of novel drugs and drug leads. Extensive programming experience, familiarity with laboratory processes and data generated by an automated laboratory is beneficial. Prior knowledge of automated microplate instrumentation such as pipetting stations, dispensers, cell-harvesters/washers, and microplate readers a plus. Good analytical skills, knowledge of good laboratory techniques, good interpersonal skills, and strong communication skills are expected. AA/EOE.
