Title: Small Molecule Microarrray Assay Development / Production Scientist
Position Deliverables:
?Responsible for running 150+ proteins in 2003 on internally generated small molecule microarrays that have chemical libraries immobilized on the surface
?Developing formats that optimize binding events between proteins and immobilized molecules
?Develop quality control procedures to assure accuracy and reliability of binding events / data generated
?Responsible for developing and carrying out production schedules
?Coordination of materials and inventories to carry out assays
Position Requirements:
?PHD with 5+ years of experience in assay development
?Highly developed problem solving skills
?Prior experience with microarray fabrication and production a plus
?Prior experience with development of laboratory hardware a plus
?Prior HTS experience a plus
?Supervisory experience necessary ( 1-2 technologists )
?Highly motivated, high energy, goal oriented, success oriented
?Prior operations technical support experience a plus
?Prior operations / production experience a plus
?Team player
?Willing to work as a member of interdisciplinary team
