The right candidate will lead the micro fluidic and mechanical system design of a novel microfluidic cell culture and analysis platform for drug discovery and bioprocess development. The candidate should be a practical, creative problem solver, used to managing projects on an aggressive time schedule. Candidate must have a demonstrated record of leading innovative MEMS, Bio-MEMS and or microfluidics projects.

Job Requirements:
?PhD in chemical, mechanical, or biomedical engineering, or material science.
?Extensive mechanical design and microfabrication (biomems, biofabrication, microelectronics, chips, biosensors) experience required
?Experience with silicon processing and knowledge of materials science is a must
?Ability to work in a highly multi-disciplinary environment is a must.
?Knowledge of biological systems, procedures, and biosensors.
?Computer, programming, and/or electronics skills a plus.
