THIS POSITION HAS BEEN FILLEDOur client company was founded to accelerate and optimize the drug discovery process in the pharmaceutical industry. Their custom, highly automated systems offer a wide variety of high-throughput research solutions including: gene isolation, gene screening, colony picking, gridding, cloning, PCR, expression analysis, SNP detection, and protein expression. They help researchers boost throughput up to 10 times, while slashing cost-per-sample rates up to 10 times, yet still maintain 100% data integrity.
Covering primariy the New Jersey and Southeastern PA territory, this person will be responsible for selling complex capital equipment, services, and consumables to Drug Discovery, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and University Research Markets. Additional Midwestern accounts will be assigned as needed.
In this position you will:
* develop and implement a strategic business plan
* establish and maintain long term customer partnerships
* manage the sales of custom designed laboratory automation systems
* be responsible for maintaining an annual quota and sales reports
Requirements:
* To qualify, you need a minimum of 4 - 10 years successful experience selling life science capital equipment into big pharma
* Ability to present solutions to senior management
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Proven ability to grow business in a large territory
* Excellent prioritization, problem solving and analytical skills.

Compensation:
Attractive Base Salary
Quarterly Bonus
Commissions: 1% to 5% of revenue
Car Allowance and excellent benefits are also included.
