My client seeks a highly motivated senior level scientist to develop an automated bioanalytical core function. The candidate should have a demonstrated record of experience and accomplishment in the field of automation and quantitative analysis of trace drug levels in biological fluids. The candidate will be expected to work with other colleagues in the group to develop, implement and execute scientific experiments to support quantitative drug metabolism studies.

Key responsibilities:
?develop LC-MS-based methods to measure a broad range of analytes from biological samples
?implement novel sample preparation and separation strategies
?optimize throughput using laboratory automation
?quantify methods, prepare SOPs, and transfer methods

Qualifications:
?5+ years of industrial experience developing bioanalytical methods using mass spectrometric techniques (LC-MS/MS), with experience in automated analytical method development and application.
?demonstrated expertise in biological sample preparation using automation platforms.
?experience with electronics, computers and laboratory information management systems is also desirable.
?demonstrated ability to think strategically, anticipate and identify key issues, facilitate problem solving and resolution.
