This individual will work within the Biomarker Research and Translational Pharmacology Group. You will provide quantitative assays for biomarker candidates using stable isotope tagging methods. You will also serve as a senior mass spectroscopist responsible for the quality of multiple MS platforms, including Triple Quadrupole, MALDI, Qq-TOF, and ion traps instruments. Responsible for completing validation reports and bioanalytical assays, and for writing sections for clinical programs. May be required to manage staff and provide expertise on a drug development team.

This position requires a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biopharmaceutical Sciences or a related discipline, 2 years of post-graduate studies, at least 2 years?experience in the pharmaceutical industry, expertise in sensitive bioanalytical assay methods, validation, nanoflow liquid chromatography, and instrumentation hardware. Experience with peptides and proteins is highly desirable. Experience in automation of workflow and data manipulation would be a plus. Applicants must have exceptional organizational and communication skills and computer proficiency in instrument-associated software.
