Job Description: Participates in design and quality reviews on all software prior to release and delivery. Tests application software, tracks test results and checks software configuration. Utilizes processes and methodologies that ensure the quality, reliability, and specifications compliance. Utilizes methods, procedures, and metrics needed to ensure that quality standards and practices are attained. Assists users in setting-up and executing user acceptance test cases. Documents set-up and administers a library of requisite test cases for applications, and reports results to the development team. Performs software and instrument testing and verifications. Develops test and verification plans and procedures. Participates in validation and beta testing efforts. Contributes to development effort from test and V&V; perspective. Other duties as assigned

Necessary Qualifications: 3 yrs. min. experience with software testing, verification, and validation on complex programmable automated systems. Life Sciences, Medical, and/or laboratory instrumentation (regulated environment) experience helpful. BS degree in engineering.
