We are looking for a microbiology lab systems analyst who is an expert in Misys and Crystal reports. I am attaching the job description, but it is pretty generic. Our long-time Micro expert, is retiring. We are in the process of going paperless in Micro and soon we will upgrade to Misys 6.0. That means our new person also will need to be an expert in Crystal reports (or a quick learner). We've been using Flexisearch (huge number of routine and random reports) and it is a large part of what we do, in addition to constantly adding and creating and changing tests, testing new interfaces, etc. It is a large, very busy lab, and will be a big challenge but we are a great group of folks and the medical center is doing cutting-edge science and teaching, along with the best medical care. The person is pretty much dedicated to Micro, although they may help some other departments during projects. Any suggestions, ideas, etc. would be appreciated. John will be impossible to replace but we'd like to try.
