Duration: Regular Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES: The qualified successful candidate should have excellent communication, both verbal and written, as well as presentation and interpersonal skills. Must have sufficient technical knowledge to discuss product concepts to prospective customers. Should also have an understanding of the sales process and maintain a high level of energy from initial contact to close of sale. This person will also be responsible for hiring Sales Reps for the Western Region.
REQUIREMENTS: Prefer individuals with substantial experience in the sales of scientific instruments or medical systems as well as biology and biochemistry research PI's. Expertise in one or more of the following markets is highly desirable: ?Drug discovery and development ?Protein biochemistry ?Toxicology/toxicity discovery development
