Scientist II

Schering-Plough Research Institute is currently seeking a talented scientist to join a team of professional scientists involved in automated high throughput screening for novel therapeutic entities.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in biochemistry or a related discipline with 5-7 years of experience, or an MS with at least 3 years of experience. This background must include development of quantitative enzyme and/or receptor binding assays using modern assay technologies; experience with cell-based assays would be a plus. Additional desirable qualifications would include programming/troubleshooting experience with laboratory instrumentation and automated systems; programming experience with VB, VB.net, C++, and XML; or SQL/Oracle experience.
