Dharmacon - The High Throughput Production Manager will oversee all aspects of high throughput operations including Synthesis, Quality Control, and Post Processing.
Supervision of HTP staff.
Review, modify and create Standard Operating Procedures for HTP. Review and develop training materials and initiate a production training program.
Review current and implement best procedures for reagent handling and preparation.
Participate in development of SQL laboratory database and provide project support.
Participate in design and implementation of automation systems in the production laboratory.
Propose alterations in processes and procedures to streamline high throughput production operations.
Identify, evaluate and validate new technologies that can benefit high throughput production operations.
Interface with Chemistry and Lab Support Groups to coordinate reagent and supply chain requirements.
Provide reports and updates to Associate Director of Production. ?Experience with laboratory automation.
Experience with LIMS desirable ?5+ years supervisory experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal ?Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities.
Bachelors in Natural Science, preferably in Chemistry.
5+ years of laboratory experience in nucleic acids synthesis.
