The HTS Core Facility at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY, is currently looking for a highly motivated individual with industry or academic laboratory experience to join our group. The successful candidate will contribute directly to all phases of the software development cycle, including design and development, integration testing, and deployment. The candidate must be well-organized and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
?Perform continuous maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of our custom-built screening application.
?Provide software development to improve and enhance the analysis of screening data.
?Maintain chemical inventory and sample tracking utilizing in-house inventory and registration custom built software.
Qualifications:
?BS degree or equivalent in computer sciences or engineering.
?2+ years experience using and implementing applications using J2EE and/or .NET.
?1+ year(s) experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, mySQL, SQL/PLSQL).
?Prior knowledge of high throughput screening and/or scripting languages (Perl, Python, PHP) is an advantage.
?Must be self motivated, team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
