We are recruiting a Group Leader interested in joining a winning team who are dedicated to extending and enhancing human life while working to build the best clinical pharmacology program in the pharmaceutical industry.

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Candidate will have the responsibility of managing individuals within a team that supports 100% of all the HTS campaigns that are run to support the entire drug discovery organization. Candidate will run multiple technology development initiatives. Will identify, validate and implement new HTS technologies.


Job Requirements:
Ph.D. in appropriate discipline or Bachelor / Master of Science with appropriate experience. At least 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience

Management experience for a group of automation specialists. Significant experience of laboratory automation for the purposes of supporting HTS. Detailed knowledge of HTS biological assays, supporting technology and instrumentation. Must have expert working knowledge of typical liquid handling and reader instrumentation. Ideal candidate will have expertise in transitioning biological assays to automated platforms. Practical pharmaceutical experience in assay design and screening of biological targets. Ability to multitask and coordinate the running of several fully automated systems as well as project lead a number of technology development initiatives. Strong team player that can work with a diverse screening & engineering community.
Candidate will have a track record of identifying, validating and implementing new HTS technologies. Experience of automated screening is essential.
