Exciting opportunities are immediately available to join the Pharmaceutical Research Institute in Lawrenceville, NJ. We are recruiting an Associate Research Scientist I - Automation Operator interested in joining a winning team who is dedicated to extending and enhancing human life within the Lead Evalution Department.

Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Evaluation Department at the Lawrenceville, NJ site by operating various automated robotic platforms. Schedule and coordinate the execution of biochemical and cell-based assays between systems. Support assay design and screening of assays.
Liquid handler and detection instrumentation evaluation, testing support, maintenance, and QC. Function as part of a team that coordinates HTS and provides an interface between biology and engineering.

Requirements:
B.S. in biology, biochemistry, or related discipline. 1-3 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or experience in High Throughput Screening. Good understanding of statistical data analysis and database management. Excellent grasp of liquid handling technologies and detection instrumentation. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. Must be detail oriented with outstanding coordination and organizational skills. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and work in a team environment.
Those with previous work experience as an HTS biologist are preferred.
