Description: Top innovative laboratory is designing biomarker assays for high throughput screening. Highly motivated and talented individuals with interests in translational medicine related to diabetes and other autoimmune diseases are sought for this exciting project. This translational team will take a basic science project, validates in both murine models and human blood samples and develop clinical assays with strong end points. The ideal candidate should be independently motivated, honest and have experience with cell biology assays and molecular biology. These talents will be applied to a proof of principles clinical trial with the FDA. This translational team will work along side a discovery group working in murine models as well as with clinical teams to validate the assay with real human samples.
Major Qualifications:
-design sensitive assays for T cells and monocytes
-validate and design molecular readouts of cell death
-Familiarity with flow cytometry methods and instrumentation
-Ability to integrate computer programs with biological readouts for high throughput screening
-meticulous attention to details.
Education
?PhD in cell biology/molecular biology or bio-medical engineering
trong organization and data management skills
xperience in cell biology and interest in applying it to high throughput
