This position will collect, interpret and document product requirements, develop subsequent conceptual system architecture, and develop system information models including inputs and outputs at stages of data transfer and transformation. The Senior Systems Engineer will participate in and may lead component, system, and subsystem feasibility and concept design and testing. This position also creates and implements verification and validation plans for subsystem and system design.
If you display solid analysis skills and effective communication skills for documenting complete, clear, and accurate requirements, we want to meet you! The qualified candidate will demonstrate astute knowledge of technology and scientific principles, focused prioritization and the ability to be an active team participant in resolving technical issues and assessing impact to program objectives. Over six years technical lead experience in a development environment, experience in system design and biotechnology, and a BS in Engineering are required. A degree in Systems Engineering is preferred; Mechanical, Electrical and Software Engineering degrees may also be considered. Strong knowledge of biomedical research, motor control or centrifuge systems is preferred. Experience using DOORS and StarTeam technologies is also preferred.
