2 Positions-1 Atlanta based, 1 NY/NJ based

Responsible for installations, validation studies, service, customer training, sales demonstrations, and the development and implementation of complex applications of all Tecan products.

?Assists with instrument installation and development of new applications.
?Performs problem diagnosis, service, and preventative maintenance on Tecan instruments.
?Provides customer training on use, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
?Participation in the sharing of information obtained from unique problems or specialized training to the FAE Team and the Tecan organization if appropriate.
?Assists Sales Engineers with complex demonstrations and installs.
?Ability and willingness to maintain a travel schedule and to travel on short notice.
?Performs record keeping of service calls according to company policy.
?Maintains appropriate parts inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
Experience
- BS degree in Life Science or Computer Science
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years of laboratory experience is desired.
- Minimum of 1 - 3 years robotics/automation experience
- Electro/mechanical experience a plus
- Well-developed PC/MAC skill level, including MS Windows 95/98 NT, Excel, word processing software.
- C, C++ and modern software development practices and methodologies helpful
- Posses a valid drivers license
