We have an immediate opening for an Applications Engineer in Connecticut.
Reporting to the Customer Care Department, the Applications Engineer supports the customer by implementing the customer protocol on their system. Responsibilities include providing technical assistance during the factory bring up; executing Site Acceptance Tests; providing help desk support and on-site protocol and application support; as well as setting up for product demos, seminars and trade shows.
Requirements include a minimum of a 4 year technical degree, preferably in Engineering or a Life Science, and formal training in computer programming with 3 ?5 years specific experience in programming automation equipment. Solid programming and troubleshooting skills are critical. Must enjoy and be comfortable with interacting directly with customers. Experience with Adept robot controllers, specifically V+ and AIM programming is a plus. Knowledge of automated liquid handling equipment also a plus. Estimated travel is 30 ?40%.
