Full time opportunity available in the High Throughput Screening Center for an Advanced Biochemist. Responsibilities include assisting lab supervisor with operation of HTS lab, developing and trouble shooting cell and enzyme/protein based assays, assisting junior staff with technical aspects of projects, organizing workflow and overseeing technical aspects of screening projects, preparing weekly reports for lab supervisor, drafting papers for publication and assisting with proposal writing. The successful candidate will have a BS with six years of experience or MS with three years of experience or equivalent. Good oral and written communication skills, the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently required. Automation experience or mechanical aptitude required.
