Join the world's leading supplier of synthetic and siRNA located in beautiful Lafayette, CO.The Laboratory Supervisor performs experiments and procedures, organizes data, analyzes results and oversees a small work group.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Supervision and oversight of a small work group of Research Associates and/or Laboratory Technicians.
2. Coordination of technical activities.
3. Develop with manager experimental protocols and procedures.
4. Attend and present seminars and lead small group meetings with strong contribution to group meetings.
5. Independently develop and test experimental protocols and procedures.
6. Establish goals and monitor achievement thereof for a work group.
Additionally all applicants will have the ability to oversee and direct the activities of a work group; thorough understanding of specialized lab procedures and assist supervisor when necessary; ability to operate specialized lab equipment and computers; strong analytical skills and trouble shooting abilities; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and good personal management abilities.
Bachelors or Masters Degree with typically 6+ years of experience; Process development in automating lab equipment highly desired.
