Field Service Engineer

High Resolution Engineering is a fast growing company based in Woburn, MA that develops novel products for the life science community. We are looking for an experienced field service engineer to be based out of our Woburn facility. This candidate will provide installation support and field service maintenance for robotic cells in the Boston area. The individual will also assist with assembly and testing of robotic cells at our factory. The candidate should have experience generating documentation for systems maintenance and calibration.

The qualified candidate should possess a B.S. in an engineering discipline or equivalent, with a minimum of three years experience working with laboratory automation. The qualified individual will have a mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving skills. Experience validating and maintaining liquid handling stations (e.g. Tecan Genesis) is required. Previous experience working with articulated robots is a plus. Ability to program in Visual Basic or C# is desirable. The individual must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with scientists and engineering team members.
