The HTS Core Facility at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY, is currently looking for a highly motivated individual with industry or academic laboratory experience to join our group. The successful candidate will manage our chemical and siRNA libraries, including inventory management, compound dissolution and preparation of stock solutions, preparation of screening plates, and plate replication.

Responsibilities:
?Set up and program laboratory automation.
?Provide continuous support for compound plating for screening.
?Maintain chemical inventory and sample tracking utilizing in-house inventory and registration custom built software ORIS.
?Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration/validation of instrumentation.

Qualifications:
?BS degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, computer sciences or engineering
?2+ years experience using and implementing automated systems including liquid handlers and screening systems
?Prior knowledge of high throughput screening is an advantage
?Experience with liquid handling systems and integrated robotic systems is a plus
?Experience with computer aided engineering design tools, laboratory instrument control programming (e.g. Visual Basic, C/C++), and relational databases (e.g. Oracle, SQL/PLSQL.)
?Must be self motivated, team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
