Senior Applications Engineer, Automated SystemsDynex Technologies manufactures and markets in vitro diagnostic and research
instrumentation, systems, software and disposables on a global basis. Our
products incorporate advanced detection and fully-automated sample handling
and are used in clinical diagnostics, drug discovery and biomedical
research.
A Senior Applications Engineer is needed to work primarily with our OEM
customers to ensure specifications, functionality, and reliability of DYNEX
products. This individual will perform customer support and troubleshooting
of recurrent problems and subsequently work with R&D;, Manufacturing,
Engineering and Production in identifying and implementing corrective
actions. This is a highly visible position requiring availability to travel
on short notice; 25-35% national, occasional international.
Specific Duties:
?Provide technical and applications support for OEM accounts, some end
users and DYNEX Technologies?employees and partners
?Investigate/coordinate customer complaints
?Assist in the review of quality documentation and reports
?Assist with and manage beta evaluation projects for enhancements and new
developments
Qualifications:
BS degree in Electronic Engineering or related field
System level engineering background in electronics, mechanical engineering
and fluidics based automated systems.
Experience in servicing, supporting clinical diagnostic analysers and
familiarity with running ELISA/immunoassay testing desirable
Excellent system level troubleshooting and PC skills are essential
