Judge Technical Services, Scientific Division provides high-end consulting and staffing services to fortune 500 companies. We have been retained by our client to seek and identify qualified candidates for a Laboratory Automation Specialist.
Seeking automation specialist to provide hands-on automation assistance to scientists in the areas of compound profiling, compound management, and cell culture. Manage automation projects from concept to implementation including robotic programming, system integration, and assay development. Support and monitor existing equipment and remedy both hardware and software problems quickly. Apply and advance knowledge on new automation technologies to relevant projects.

Skills: Knowledge of the operation and programmatic control of automated liquid handling systems and other laboratory instrumentation is required. Experience configuring Beckman Core systems, Beckman FX liquid handlers, Tecan Genesis, and/or Caliper Sciclone/Twister II instrumentation is highly desirable. Strong PC and programming experience in Excel, VBA, and VB is essential. Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and strong written/verbal communication skills are essential.

Education: B.S. or B.A. degree in related science or engineering field and 3-5 years of laboratory automation experience.
