ActivX Biosciences, Inc. is an emerging biopharmaceutical company that discovers and develops small molecule drugs for major unmet medical needs. ActivX uses its unique technology to discover novel disease mechanisms and to optimize drugs that impact these diseases.Successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining and supervising multiple laboratory robotics platforms (Tecan). This role will develop new automated processes by setting up routines on platforms and programming equipment. This role will also track and perform quality control for data generated from these platforms.
Requirements:
BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field with 4 or more years of industry experience is required. Strong understanding of biology with an aptitude for using and troubleshooting lab robotic equipment. Strong organizational skills, experience with standard laboratory robotics. Management experience, robotics programming skills, and programming in Visual Basic are a desired.
