Laboratory Automation SpecialistCentocor, Inc., a J&J; company, has an opportunity for a Laboratory Automation Specialist in their Radnor, PA laboratories.
Job Summary:
The Laboratory Automation Specialist will work with multiple groups in the Clinical Pharmacology Department to identify, automate, validate and maintain assay procedures and sample preparation methods. Assay types include immunoassays of biotherapeutics for pharmacokinetics analysis and pharmacodynamic biomarkers of efficacy in clinical Phase 1 to 4 studies and in nonclinical studies.
Will also work with R&D; applications group to define, develop, and automate interfaces with LIMS (Watson). Will work with Senior Staff in the Clinical Pharmacology bioanalytical laboratory to evaluate and implement new hardware and software solutions to sample preparation and assay execution. Assist in documentation and training as appropriate. Ensure GLP compliance and computer system validation.
Requirements:
1.BS degree in biology, chemistry, engineering, or related discipline.
2.Hands-on experience with Tecan workstations and other liquid handling automation.
3.Understanding of Oracle database systems and software development
4.Two-ten years experience in laboratory automation or assay development.
