Cambridge MA: High Resolution Engineering is a dynamic company focused on providing innovative engineering solutions for the life science industry. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be a key member of our team. The individual will be stationed at a major pharmaceutical company for 80 percent of the time and the balance at other client installations. The qualified candidate will keep state of the art laboratories in operation by providing support, protocol development, preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory devices and robotic cells. The candidate should have experience generating documentation for systems maintenance and calibration.

The qualified candidate should possess a B.S. in an engineering discipline or equivalent, with a minimum of three years experience working with laboratory automation. The qualified individual will have a mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving skills. Experience validating and maintaining liquid handling stations such as Tecan is required. Previous experience working with articulated robots is a plus. Ability to program in Visual Basic is desirable. The individual must possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work with scientists and engineering team members.
