Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (CTI), a Seattle-based pharmaceutical company, is committed to developing an integrated portfolio of oncology products aimed at making cancer more treatable. We are currently accepting resumes for the following position:

Scientist II - HTS
This position is responsible for assay development and high throughput screening of biochemical and cell-based assays using automated robotic systems
This includes: collaborating on the development of assays suitable for screening vs. a compound chemical library, maintaining and validating 2 automated screening platforms and assisting in the acquisition, analysis and reporting of data. In addition, this position will interact with other groups to facilitate transfer of assays to the automated screening platform, as well as with the IT for development and operation of the key enabling informatics systems. Requires a BS/BA in Biology/Biochemistry or equivalent and 5 plus yrs of experience in the development of biochemical and cell-based high throughput assays, laboratory automation systems, chemical compound materials management and/or HTS data acquisition, analysis and/or tracking. Advanced degree (i.e. Masterî–¸) and/or biotech/pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus. Candidates should have knowledge of industry standard HTS robotic platforms and their software applications, HTS assay formats, programs and computer systems associated with HTS such as Activity Base, MDL ISIS, SQL and Spotfire.
