Opportunity with California based company known as a worldwide provider of immunodiagnostic systems & reagents. The director will be responsible to ensure that Technical Services Department is in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Director will function as a technical resource with respect to the clinical applications of assays and may be asked to prepare technical reports or other technical documents. The Director is responsible to manage and develop the Technical Services staff that consists of Managers, Technical Services Specialists and clerical support. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Doctoral degree (PhD) in Clinical Chemistry or related field with post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Chemistry. Board Certification is required. Experience in the clinical chemistry laboratory is an advantage.
