Serves customers by providing direct technical support to Tecan and SLT customers, and Tecan Engineers. ?Answers customer and Tecan staff `s technical inquiries via telephone, e-mail and/or voice mail. If inquiry/trouble can not be resolved, then TTS dispatches Field Automation Engineer to customer site for resolution. Follow-up required to until customer resolution.
?Arrange for shipment of parts or instruments to customer sites and ensure RSO are properly returned and tracked.
?Maintains professional and technical knowledge of instruments and products by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Your background:
?BA or BS in Robotics, Automation, Biology, Chemistry, Medical technology or related fields
?Well-developed PC/MAC skill level, including MS Windows 95/98 NT, Excel, word processing software. Strong working knowledge of Windows environments
?1-2 years automation/instrumentation experience desired.
? Other skills required are good organization, record keeping, communication and time management.
?Must be self-motivated and able to grasp new software concepts.
