Serves customers by providing direct technical support to Tecan and SLT customers, and Tecan Engineers.

?Answers customer and Tecan staff `s technical inquiries via telephone, e-mail and/or voice mail. If inquiry/trouble can not be resolved, then TTS dispatches Field Automation Engineer to customer site for resolution. Follow-up required to until customer resolution.
?Arrange for shipment of parts or instruments to customer sites and ensure RSO are properly returned and tracked.
?Maintains professional and technical knowledge of instruments and products by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Your background:

?BA or BS in Robotics, Automation, Biology, Chemistry, Medical technology or related fields
?Well-developed PC/MAC skill level, including MS Windows 95/98 NT, Excel, word processing software. Strong working knowledge of Windows environments
?1-2 years automation/instrumentation experience desired.
? Other skills required are good organization, record keeping, communication and time management.
?Must be self-motivated and able to grasp new software concepts.
