Position Deliverables:

You will play a key role in many multidisciplinary projects, focusing on process improvements in compound formatting and high throughput screening, including cell based assay, ADME toxicity and solubility testing. Your involvement will include direction of robotic integration and scheduling, and successful validation and implementation of HTS liquid handling steps on multiple platforms. Additionally, you will play a key role in all aspects of the HTS process including submicroliter liquid deliveries and assay miniaturization.

Position Requirements:

B.S or M.S in Chemistry, Biology or related field is required. Must have demonstrated successes increasing productivity and efficiency through process improvements, and have achieved this by working closely with science groups. You must also possess experience in all aspects of automated liquid handling and microplate detection. Because of the nature of this position, appropriate candidates will have reasonable knowledge in Cellular Biology and Chemistry.

Additional required skills include:

?Extensive experience with laboratory robotics, including customization and fabrication
?Expertise in liquid handling and protocol validation
?Expertise in synthetic chemistry and biological processes
?Hands-on experience and knowledge of various liquid handling systems including PlateMate Plus, Sciclone ALH and TAP system from Automation Partnership
