Position Deliverables:
Infinity Pharmaceuticals is looking for a B.S. or M.S. in an engineering discipline, with a strong background in mechanical engineering, software development and systems integration. Previous experience working in a Laboratory and familiarization with lab devices (i.e. pipettors, plate detectors) is preferred, however, comparable experience in an industrial setting will also be considered. Previous experience working with industrial robots (i.e. Staubli) and custom systems is a plus. Strong programming background in XML, Java, Visual Basic and C++ is necessary. Prior experience designing algorithms for software development and design of simulation methodologies to improve overall system architecture and workflow is essential. The qualified candidate should also have a mechanical aptitude to assist with overall automation projects. Previous experience with CADD to design 3D parts and assemblies is preferred (i.e. Solid Works. The candidate must have the ability to prioritize objectives and work in conjunction with design engineers and other members of the scientific community to meet timelines and objectives.
