We are seeking a Director to lead an instrumentation development group within a 1.5B company. The group is responsible for $300M+in Mass Spec business per annum. The successfull candidate will report into the Director of Engineering. Itemised job description will be provided offline due to the private nature of the search. Suffice it to say that the successful candidate will have Mass Spec knowledge as their core skill set followed by experience in leadership of an instrumentation group, experience in managing both software and instrumentation hardware aspects of product development.

The most often noted reasons for candidate rejection are:
1) lack of sufficient Mass Spec experience (10-15years),
2) lack of depth in the latest advances in Mass Spec technology
3) lack of depth in fundamental industry knowledge with respect to new Mass Spec instrumentation development .
