VP of Global Sales and Marketing

Working closely with the CEO you will be a member of the senior executive management team with full responsibility for all sales aspects of high tech and patented liquid handling instruments in the life science industry. You will be expected to substantially contribute to the strategic vision of the company.
The role includes the management of direct and indirect sales force, development of routes into new territories and markets, and the formulation and implementation of sales and marketing strategies in line with the company aggressive growth and expansion plans. You will be responsible for regular sales reporting, forecasting, budgeting and delivery of sales on target. The role further includes the development and management strategic sales, including key accounts, and other business development activities.
You should have a strong track record of sales and sales management at senior executive level in the capital equipment and life science markets with particular focus on automated liquid handling. You should also be able to demonstrate the necessary skills and experiences to develop and manage a sales organization through a substantial growth and expansion phase. The role further requires the successful candidate to be a motivated self-starter with excellent presentation and communication skills at corporate level and to be a competent and skilled negotiator.
This position will require substantial international travel.
