IDBS is a rapidly growing company providing data management solutions to the drug discovery and pharmaceutical industries. IDBS flagship product ActivityBase ?is recognized as the industry standard for biological data management, with installations in over a dozen countries and most of the worlds major pharmaceutical companies. To sustain this growth IDBS is looking for ambitious professionals to play a part in developing and supporting it expanding customer base in the United States.

This role is to support existing and new customers of IDBS in the implementation of software solutions.

Responsibilities include:
Understanding customers?needs and assisting with the development of solutions to meet their business requirements.
Installation of software on site in a wide variety of business and technical environments.
Training of end users and system administrators in the use of software, namely ActivityBase? XLfit?and SARgen?
Development and design of protocol and result templates for customers in a wide variety of formats.
Involvement in other customer-specific projects on an as needed basis.
In addition the role will require liaison with the IDBS Support Desk to ensure customer issues are being addressed and also involve input into future IDBS product development.
Much of the work is done at customer sites and will therefore involve extensive travel ~50%, all of which will be within the US.
Candidates must be self-motivated, demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving and be prepared to work in a variety of fast moving, challenging situations.

REQUIREMENTS:
BSc (MSc or PhD) in Biology, Chemistry or related life science discipline.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
Oracle Database Experience, including writing SQL.
