Responsibilities include: Creating compound libraries using automated synthesis and purification with advanced laboratory robotics; evaluating drug libraries and custom chemical reagents via automated data acquisition and analysis systems; and assisting in custom fragment synthesis, preparation of reagent solutions and maintenance of laboratory automation.

Qualifications include: B.S. or M.S. (M.S. preferred) in Chemistry with a strong background in organic chemistry and a minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on experience with laboratory robotics and high throughput combinatorial synthesis and purification. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems is essential. The successful candidate will have demonstrated: the ability to excel in a multidisciplinary laboratory environment and work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision; exceptional communication skills; flexibility; creativity; attention to detail; and excellent chemical and mechanical lab skills.
