SPECTROSCOPIST
A pharmaceutical company in Massachusetts that develops and commercializes pharmaceutical products for the primary care and specialty markets. The spectroscopist will serve the role of general, technical expert for the company and act as a primary technical resource for Chemistry Research & Development. The chosen candidate will possess familiarity with all aspects of mass spectrometry (LC-MS, MS/MS, TOF) and NMR spectroscopy, and familiarity with the chemistry literature and literature searching techniques. Demonstrated ability in the development and implementation of non-routine MS and NMR approaches to troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as excellence in leadership, written, verbal and organizational skills are essential. Must have BOTH MS and NMR expertise and recent experience. A phD in synthetic organic, physical organic, or natural product chemistry with 5+ years of related experience is required, candidates with MS degree and 10 years of related experience will be considered.
