We have an exciting career opportunity in the area of cell biology/cell-based high-throughput cellular assays. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and running our cell culture facility and will support key activities relating to bioassay development and screening. This position will be part of a research team that is funded by a FNIH Grand Challenges Grant to develop vaccine formulations with enhanced stability. The position also offers the opportunity to interface with and be part of other programs within Transform Pharmaceuticals that utilize cell-based methodologies.

Responsibilities:
Maintain proper functioning of all aspects of Transform Pharmaceuticals?mammalian cell culture facility; Maintain adequate stocks of all biological reagents and characterization of cell lines used for screening; Participation in carrying out high-throughput array-based screening including analysis and interpretation of resultant data.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in cell biology or a related discipline with + 5-10 yrs. Industrial experience in mammalian cell culture; Detailed record-keeping and excellent organizational abilities required; Ability to work productively in a fast-paced goals-oriented environment; Experience in virology or vaccines is a plus;

Must be an innovative, self-motivated, team player with strong communication and organizational skills who thrives in a multi-disciplinary environment.
